Friends of the Library

The Friends raise money to pay for many activities that benefit the library. Their major fundraiser is the Friends of the Library Used Book Sale. This sale is a great way for the friends to raise money. There are volunteer opportunities for the members to set up, work and dismantle the book sale. As a Friend you will have first access to the Book Sale.

The Friends are very integral to the library's Summer Reading Programs. They sponsor the annual Ice Cream Social at the end of the Summer Reading Club every August. Members are needed to serve ice cream and check in the participants as they arrive.

The Friends also provide funds for performers and events such as: A Visit with Santa, Children's Holiday gift bags, staff Summer Reading T-shirts and Children's performers.

The Friends is a great way to be involved, volunteer and meet people while supporting The Rossford Public Library. New Members with new ideas are always welcome.
